Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of one four-month semester, students will be able to:
- Work confidently with stage directors in rehearsal and onstage, as well as with coaches and conductors in the preparation process.
- Comprehensively prepare and perform an operatic role drawing on skills and experiences gained in Korrepetition, Opera Production, and Stagecraft for Dynamic Performers.
- Achieve improved German language proficiency:
- If Beginner entry level, obtain a B1 Level after 2 semesters.
- If Intermediate entry level, obtain a B2+ Level after 2 semesters.
- Develop a well-rounded vocal technique, with physical coordination and freedom, as well as musical and dramatic expressivity.
- Strengthen creative resilience, artistic confidence, and trust in your evolving voice and interpretation.
- Build meaningful artistic community through shared vulnerability, collaboration, and honest creative exchange.

Stage Training
- Fully staged Opera
- Stagecraft for Dynamic Performers: 4 CU/week
Musical Training
- Individual Korrepetition 1 CU/week
- Individual Voice Lessons 1 CU/week
Artistic Development
- Intensive German Language for Singers 30 CU/week (6 weeks A2 Level, 6 weeks B1 Level)
- Scene Study & Character Psychology
- Skill Set Weekly Modules, i.e. Vocal Technique, Stagecraft, Repertoire Preparation, etc. Modules 8-12 CU/week
- Professional Aria Recording
