Rachel Nash

Rachel Nash Rachel Nash, born in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, began her dance training in the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School. Summer studies included Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Ballet Academy East in NYC, Pacific Northwest Ballet, the School of American Ballet, and the Chautauqua Institution. In 2020, Rachel joined Oregon Ballet Theatre 2, where she performed in OBT’s productions of George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments and The Nutcracker. In 2022, Rachel was invited to perform a world premiere by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, created for the 90th anniversary of Jacob’s Pillow. Rachel joined Richmond Ballet in the fall of 2022, and recently joined the Charlottesville Ballet.

Rachel’s repertoire includes works by Jennifer Archibald, August Bournonville, George Balanchine, LeeWei Chao, Ma Cong, Michel Fokine, Ye Li, David Lichine, Marius Petipa, Jerome Ribbins, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Ben Stevenson, and Stoner Winslett.

Rachel teaches ballet, pointe, and ballet repertoire and choreographs in the U.S. and internationally. She is also a classically trained coloratura soprano.
